In our Pre-Kindergarten program children have a variety of activities; including journal writing, block building, language and
literacy projects, dramatic play, arts and crafts, science investigation and community service learning.
Our children work in small groups, one-on-one and in large group activities to share common experiences while
learning to be a responsible member of a community.
We work with the Sacramento County School Readiness Department to prepare
our preschool-aged children for success in elementary school and beyond. Our Pre-K program is also part of the Preschool Bridging Model
program. The Preschool Bridging Model (PBM), which is funded by First 5 Sacramento, is designed to enhance the quality of child care for
young children in Sacramento County.
All of our programs are committed to an anti-bias curriculum. Care is taken to choose books, music and classroom materials that
reflect a sense of diversity and non-stereotypical images.
